How quickly a gentle heart can be wounded, and the consequences of the wound have the potential to live on for generations. Children enter the halls of life equipped with talents and ineptitudes, assets and flaws, perseverance and doubts; who is it that will guide their steps through injustice, over bias, and across unfairness?
These stories were inspired by children with no choice in who they were or where they came from. They are stories of whom a child may become with the whisper of an angel in their lives. It is my hope the following stories embolden the angel in all of us, the young and the old, to spread protective wings over a fragile soul.
